I have been a Director of Marketing for various medical device companies focused on treating common health issues for women for nearly 10 years. Specifically, abnormal uterine bleeding and stress urinary incontinence. Far too many women suffer in silence and are unaware of what options are available to them. Unfortunately women do not discuss these issues with their doctor and therefore go untreated or opt for radical surgery for something that can be addressed less invasively. I hope to reach as many women as possible to advocate on their behalf and inform them of what options are available and to pass on better information for a more informed decision. There is no need to suffer in silence or consider major surgery such as a hysterectomy. If I can change one life, I will have succeeded.
